About Me

  My name is Lindsay Laughner and I have been an educator in many shapes and forms for the past 20 years. In the past 11 years I have been writing STEM curriculum! I have written as a volunteer for organizations like OCEARCH, and the Field School Foundation, and currently I work with University of Miami Shark Research and Conservation program on STEM curriculum that integrates their research and information about Biscayne Bay and other local marine ecosystems.

  I live in South Florida with my family and in my spare time you can find me exploring this region on my paddleboard, snorkeling, scuba diving, or on the R/V Garvin. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to bring the incredible place I live, and places I visit, into classrooms, and other educational settings.
